Stadium Project DonorsThe Stadium Donors page is dedicated to donors who have supported the Re-do the IMU Stadium Project with gifts of $5,000 or more. While we don’t want to leave out any donor, contributors of lesser amounts would be too numerous to mention. For a listing of paver donors, please see the December newsletter.
Recently, our single largest contributor, Sue Cooley, not only reaffirmed a pledge of an additional $1 million, but came out publicly to champion this important project. (She had already contribute $2 million) The Foundation, along with Sue, hopes that her generosity inspires others to join in our efforts to bring a sports and events stadium to Lahainaluna.

This project wouldn’t have progressed as fast and as far as it has without the support of local businesses. Most recently, the Maui Westin Resort & Spa has offered eight hotel rooms for up to 120 days, at no charge, should they be needed for housing track & field construction specialists. The architectural firm of Harmon & Associates and engineering firm of Otomo Engineering, Inc. have also given generously through in-kind donations.
And although it isn’t recent news, we certainly don’t want to forget the grants that we were awarded last year. Mahalo to Hawaiian Electric Company for their $10,000 award, and NFL Charities for their $5,000 support.
